Aloo Tikka

Ingredients:

  • ½ kg par boiled potatoes.
  • ¼ kg curd.
  • 1 tsp. ginger paste
  • 1 tsp. garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp. mint paste
  • 1 tsp. coriander paste
  • 1 tsp. green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp. Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste.

Garnishing:

  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion

Method:

  • Cut boiled potatoes into big pieces.
  • Beat curd and add remaining all the ingredients, mix well and keep the potatoes in the marinade for about 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Deep-fry the marinade potatoes pieces in the oil till golden brown on all sides and crispy.
  • Sauté onion, tomato and garnished the tikka .
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
