Paneer kofta

1.    Paneer kofta

Ingredients:

For kofta

For gravy

  • 3 onions
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. coriander leaves
  • ½ cup curd
  • ½ cup cashew paste
  • ½ tsp. cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric powder1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp. ghee

Method:

  • Take a bowl, put paneer , boiled potatoes , red chili powder, garam masala, salt and corn flour mash all well.
  • Make 12 round balls and deep fry till the balls are golden brown.
  • Balls (kofta) is ready keep aside.
  • Now for the gravy, heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds , bay leaf and onion paste sauté for 4 min.
  • Now add spices (red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt) sauté for 2 min.
  • Add tomato puree, curd and cashew paste again sauté  for some min.
  • Add required water and cook till the gravy thickens.
  • Now add paneer kofta in the gravy, serve hot , garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
