Ragda patties

Method:

  • Heat oil in a kadai,add the cumin seeds, green chilies and grated ginger sauté for some second. Add asafetida and onion.
  • Add the spice powder and salt mix well,  add the tomatoes until soft.
  • Now add boiled peas and 1 cup of water cook for about 5 min,add the tamarind paste and sugar.
  • While the ragda is simmering add the garam masala , garnish with coriander leaves.
